Vorderer Gosausee Mountain Light

     The weather looked threating during the night, but nothing ever came of it. At least on my side of the Austrian mountains. The next morning, with the stormy weather still in the distance, I was fortunate when the sun cleared the mountains to get a break in the clouds. For a few moments, the sun highlighted the foreground trees and mountain sides which added a sense of depth to the image. It pays to get up early and patiently wait out the weather. Especially in the mountains where the weather can change in mere moments.
